Management Board

Angela trained at Baker Tilly, Chartered Accountants for 10 years before becoming Finance Director and co-owner of an international electronics company for 13 years.
Angela joined us in 2014 as our Finance Director before taking over as Managing Director in 2019.  As Managing Director, Angela oversees the services of our units and heads the Management Board.  She is responsible for developing commercial relationships with the local Trusts and ICBs and managing the various contracts that we hold.  Angela also holds the position of Caldicott Guardian.

Mark trained in London at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals  and qualified as a GP in 2002.  Since then he has always practised in the Surrey Downs area and is currently a partner at the Oxshott Medical Practice.  He has a clinical interest in dermatology, and undertakes minor procedures in our units.
As Medical Director since 2014, he is responsible for the oversight of the clinical governance of the group and chairs the Medical Advisory Committee.  He is also responsible for managing our pool of clinicians, developing the clinical pathways we manage and services we offer.

Jayne qualified as a registered nurse in 1983 at Charing Cross Hospital.  She has subsequently gained extensive experience in acute hospitals in both the private and NHS sector.   She spent 15 years at Ashtead hospital where she helped set up the nursing team when the hospital opened.  Prior to joining Epsomedical in 2007 she was the nursing educator at Epsom & St Helier Trust for intensive care and high dependency. As Clinical Director, she is responsible for the day to day management of our units, ensuring that services run and that standards are maintained.

Michelle trained as a pharmacy technician at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where she qualified in 1998.  She has worked in several NHS Trusts, as well as the integrated care boards in Kent, Surrey and Sussex.  Her roles have focussed on Medicines Optimisation, Quality and Safety.  Michelle also lectured in pharmacy at the City of Portsmouth College.  As Compliance Manager, Michelle sets the standards we must work to and supervises the resulting training of all clinical staff.  It is her responsibility to investigate all incidents and complaints and ensure that, where failings are discovered, appropriate measures are put into place to prevent recurrence. 

Ian served for 27 years as an administrator in the British Army serving in many countries around the world.
Ian joined Epsomedical rather fittingly on Remembrance Day 2013 as Customer Services Manager and now as Services Director.  He has overall responsibility for all service arrangements that support the running of our clinics and theatre lists and the day to day management of our patient administration system.  He also has the role of the Senior Information Risk Officer.
